Our Team

Nawal Alomari, LCPC

My ideal client is someone who is ready to tackle things that have been weighing them down, wants to grow their tool kit and gain better coping skills. I also enjoy working with couples who are ready to look inward and be honest with themselves on their roles in the dynamics and improve. I work with a wide array of clients but my most common clientele include adults who struggle with anxiety, ADHD and/or depression and couples struggling to communicate or want to improve their bond even further.

My passion is to help my clients achieve their goals through self-awareness, openness and a willingness to work. I also thoroughly enjoy working with couples who want to further improve their bond or navigate difficult times. I accomplish this in therapy by using strength focused and motivational therapy techniques.

I am currently offering virtual sessions and can be reached by email at nawal@noorpw.com.

Juhie Faheem, LPC

I have been a therapist for 7 years and have extensive experience working with families, couples, and individuals, particularly in the areas of trauma, anxiety, and depression. I utilize a range of psychological interventions and evidence-based treatment methods, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy, ACT,  Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches. My holistic approach integrates psychology, biology, and physiology to craft personalized treatment plans that meet clients where they are.

In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of several nonprofits, including Muslim Mental Health and the Will County Mental Health Board. I am dedicated to embracing diversity and providing inclusive, compassionate care to all of my clients.

I am currently offering virtual sessions and can be reached by email at Juhie@noorpw.com.

Anna Lao, LPC

Everyone is struggling with something, and I want to be there for you in your time of need. I will sit with you in the dark and help you find a way to turn on the light. I work primarily with adults struggling with grief, trauma, and anxiety in both individual and group capacities.

Together we will use creative play, storytelling, and mindfulness to help you develop coping skills, build resiliency, and enhance self-awareness. I also utilize other evidence-based treatment methods such as CBT, narrative therapy, existential therapy, and other psychodynamic approaches.

If you could use some help navigating through the hardships in your life, please contact me to set up an appointment. You do not have to do this alone. I am currently taking virtual appointments and can be reach by email or phone. I am working under supervision, as as my LPC license is pending in the state of Illinois.

I can be reached at Anna@noorpw.com or at (815) 694-6649.
